Awesome hot brown!

Great place for lunch. Our group followed from Jtown. First time in New location. Glad I was invited to join my friends.

I couldn't have been more disappointed in the service my family received today. After visiting for the first time last weekend, I decided to make a girls day out of it with my family after visiting the Farmer's Market. I called a week ago and made a reservation. We showed up and the owner was extremely rude. While they were very busy, it was disappointing that their customer service lacked because of it. My family actually ends up cleaning 3 tables just to help them out. Our reservation was at 12:30 and we didn't receive our food until after 2pm. The peach tea was so watered down and they were out of half the items on their menu. Nothing was done to try to reconcile the situation either. Our family will NOT be visiting again, that's for sure!

We really enjoyed coming to the cafe today. It was tranquil when we first came, but really picked up around 1pm. I didn't realize beforehand, but you can make reservations and probably should as it gets really busy. Everything is homemade and tastes like it. We got our food within 20 minutes of ordering. The food is delicious -- I had the BLT and he had the hot brown. We split a wonderful bread pudding with bourbon sauce to close out our meal. I recommend coming here.

What can I say. Slow slow slow. A owner that complains constantly. We left. Of you don't want to be in business close it!

Our favorite place for breakfast or lunch in J-town. Mrs. Thomas makes everybody feel at home, and the food is amazing!! We go as often as we can!

I am Mary, and I was at Cafe on Main 2 weeks ago. The Hot Brown was delicious. I will place it second in line to the one prepared at the Brown Hotel.

Don't know who the woman is that runs this place, but she can cook! An eclectic mix of home baked goods and wonderful sandwiches and salads and lunch items, and the desserts are amazingly good! The atmosphere is lovely too! I'd recommend this place to anyone living in/or visiting Jeffersontown, KY!

The best hot brown around and the best desserts love it

Wanted to try this place since I have heard the food was good. My husband and I stopped in on a Thursday around lunch time and waited about 15 minutes before we even got seated and than was asked if we were in a hurry.Waited another 15 minutes and decided to leave.

This place is so cute and the food is amazing. I highly recommend the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. The only downside is that it's only open four days a week and the hours are brief.

The food has been delicious!! I have a rewards card and get a free meal next time.

If I could give this little place more stars I would....everything she makes is sooo delicious!!! If you get a sandwich order it with her homemade bread..YUM!!! The soup and salads are fabulous...everything is great!! I love the hot brown ...better than the Brown Hotel..her deserts are wonderful the bread pudding is amazing and I don't like bread pudding but hers is GREAT!!! I could go on and on how wonderful this place is...yum!!!

Nice cozy restaurant with great food.

We waited two hours for our food bad they weren't even busy, I asked for muffins at the first hour and the server told me we would just have to wait.

Hit or miss here. The French toast is more of a bread pudding. The hot brown was delicious. The service is very slow expect to be here an hour and a half. Partially because they make your food from scratch and they have one waitress for the entire place. They often run out of certain items on the menu because they're only open specific days of the week. There is also a shop upstairs. Please hire more staff.

Food is excellent!!! Know ahead of time that you will want to take your time browsing the different rooms.

My absolute favorite place. The owner does an AMAZING job. Everything is homemade....the desserts are spectacular. Her strawberry cake when in season can't be beat. Her cookie decorating sometimes looks too wonderful to eat! Although a small place, Kathy is able to fill it with her personality and good food! Every now and then you may experience a wait as her tables fill up. Definitely worth the wait. I love spending time here! One of my happy places!

Outstanding desserts! Excellent Hot Browns! Quaint little house is deceiving! Make reservations , because of limited size. Always busy for lunch.

Could not even get seated. Place was a mess. People waiting on food seemed irratated. Lady that was most likely the owner was plesant but constantly complained about being open on Saturday. We left and went some where else.
